Sexual Health & Fertility
The World Health Organisation defines sexual health as a state of physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being in relation to sexuality; it is not merely the absence of disease, dysfunction, or infirmity.
Sexual health includes emotional, psychological, physical, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions. Sexual health is developed over a lifespan, from cradle to grave. Fertility, on the other hand, relates to our ability to be able to reproduce. In short, being fertile means having the ability to conceive, or have children.
Types of sexual health and fertility challenges could include:
- Lack of desire
- Lack of arousal
- Pain during intercourse
- Relationship concerns
- Infertility
- Tiredness
- Stress
- Loss of Libido
- Vaginismus
